Devaki Pande is the founder and Director of Swaramantra Academy.
Devaki is an accomplished Hindustani Classical Music singer and has been teaching music in the Dallas area for the past several years. In 2016 Devaki established Swaramantra Academy with the vision of nurturing and propagating the priceless heritage of Indian Classical Music in the DFW area. Swaramantra Academy is located in Plano and has been designated an official examination center by Akhil Bharatiya Gandharva Mahavidyala, Miraj.
Devaki began her musical journey at an early age, with formal training in her home town of Aurangabad, India and completed her Sangeet Visharad at the age of 22. Devaki continues to further her vocal training under the guidance of her gurus – ‘Sur Ratna’ Pandit Sanjeev Abhyankar and Shri Arshad Ali Khan. Devaki has performed on numerous occasions in India and internationally and has been awarded several accolades in her singing career, including the prestigious Pt. Bhimsen Joshi Sangeet Seva Sanman.
